Giving a regular monthly gift is a quick and convenient way to ensure AAFB is able to assist our member food banks in meeting increased demands throughout the year. When you decide to make a monthly gift, AAFB will deduct a set amount of your choosing from your credit or debit card on either the 5th or 20th of each month.
To set up Monthly Giving, simply choose the Monthly Donation option of your choice
when making your initial donation. AAFB will do all the work thereafter, automatically deducting your donation going forward. That's all there is to it! You are free to discontinue monthly giving at any time by notifying AAFB in writing or via phone.
Giving a Gift in Honor or Memory of a Loved One
Celebrate the holidays, a birthday, or any special occasion with a contribution in honor or memory of family members, friends, colleagues, or a treasured loved one. Acknowledgements, without dollar amounts, can be sent to your honorees if you wish.
Planned Giving Through Stocks & Investments
If you are interested in making a substantial contribution to AAFB, consider donating appreciated stock from your investment portfolio. Your tax benefits from the donation of stocks and other investments may be increased and such a generous gift helps AAFB advance its mission of eliminating hunger in Arizona. Including AAFB in Your Will
Did you know you can include AAFB in your will? Leaving a legacy gift in your will to AAFB, no matter how small or in what form--cash, investments, property--ensures much needed food and assistance will continue to reach families in Arizona who need it the most. Give Through United Way
If you contribute to the Valley of the Sun United Way
or Mesa United Way
, you can designate your donation to AAFB by indicating our identification number 7006 on your pledge form or you can specify us by name. This is a great way to support AAFB through your United Way campaign at the office!
Give Through Thrivent Choice
Help recommend where some of Thrivent Financial's charitable outreach funds go. Become an eligible member and be designated Choice Dollars you can direct to AAFB!
Does Your Employer Match Gifts?
You may be able to double your gift to AAFB through Matching Gift Programs! Many employers offer to match your gifts as a way to encourage their employees and often their retirees to support charitable organizations. While many of our donors utilize this opportunity, there are probably many more who may not realize this potential. Please ask your human resources office if your company offers Employer Matching Gifts. By simply filling out the required forms, you can offer a "second helping" of generosity to people who are hungry throughout Arizona.
Give Through Your American Express Card
Give to the AAFB by donating with your American Express Card. Donations can be made in dollars or Membership points. Your dollar donation is tax deductible and you will receive an email receipt that meets IRS requirements as a record of your contribution. The site also enables you to set up recurring donations.
