Excellent Look at Child Hunger Courtesy of Dr. Oz



The Dr. Oz Television Show recently produced an excellent episode on child hunger, exploring the physical, emotional and mental effects of hunger.  It is one of the best explanations of what happens to a growing child experiencing hunger we've seen.  The episode is broken into multiple different clips, including some human-interest Faces of Hunger pieces, which we also have linked to below.  It is well worth your time to watch the clips and get a comprehensive understanding of the perils of child hunger.  Bottom line, even one missed meal can harm a child’s development.
