September is Hunger Action Month, where AAFB joins Feeding America, food banks, and anti-hunger advocates nationwide to take action to fight domestic hunger.

The annual Wells Fargo Statewide Food Drive happened this past July 15-August 7, 2010.

On Saturday, May 8, mail carriers around the country collected donations for local food banks. Over the 18 year history of the drive, more than 1 billion pounds of food has been collected, including more than 1 million pounds in Arizona in 2010.

Join our efforts to increase investment in Child Nutrition Reauthorization (CNR) in 2010 by sending an electronic letter to Arizona Senators John McCain and Jon Kyl, and Congressmen Raul Grijalva and Ed Pastor. These four are the most visible Arizona leaders who can make a difference in CNR. Whether you live in their districts or not, they need to hear from Arizonans like you on this critical issue!

Encourage everyone to give a quarter! If every person in Arizona donated just 25 cents to AAFB, we would raise over $1.6 million to deliver more than 40 million pounds of food in a year....
