The Community Food Bank is a certified member of America's Second Harvest and is the regional non-profit food distribution center for Cochise, Graham, Greenlee, Pima and Santa Cruz Counties. Programs of the Community Food Bank reach approximately 200,000 people monthly, of which 52% are children and senior citizens. The Community Food Bank provides food to nearly 500 distribution sites operated by local charities, manages multiple youth programs, conducts home gardening workshops, provides family advocacy counseling, operates a demonstration garden, a nonprofit low-cost grocery store and a 10 acre farm in the Town of Marana, and manages two Farmers' Markets. In 2007, the Community Food Bank won the prestigious Glynwood Award for Connecting Communities, Farmers and Food, the USDA Western Region Sunshine Award for Excellence in the Summer Meals Program, was listed in Eating Well Magazine as one of the Top 10 Farmers' Markets in the United States, and was the only food bank in the nation to be invited to the Terra Madre Slow Food Conference in Turin, Italy.

Desert Mission Food Bank began helping the hungry of North Phoenix in the 1920s and has expanded its services to meet the health, wellness and hunger needs of our community. In 2005/2006, Desert Mission Food Bank distributed nearly 1,680,061 pounds of food. More than 160,296 people received food through emergency food boxes, government commodities and food cooperative programs. More than 60 percent of those served by Desert Mission Food Bank are children and seniors. Desert Mission Food Bank is part of the John C. Lincoln Health Network. With the creation of the "4th Street Market" we are able to provide emergency and food security programs and services, in a dignified and respectful manner to all individuals and families in our community who meet program specific criteria. In order to meet our mission of serving the community, the Desert Mission Food Bank depends on caring volunteers and generous donors, who are an integral and essential part of our organization.

St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance is a certified member of America's Second Harvest-The Nation’s Food Bank Network and is the regional non-profit food distribution center for Western Maricopa, Coconino, Mohave, Northern Apache, Northern Navajo, Northwestern Gila, Western Pinal and Yavapai Counties. St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance, the world’s first food bank, is a non-sectarian, nonprofit organization that alleviates hunger by efficiently gathering and distributing food to 534 partner agencies at 700 sites that serve the hungry. Agencies include domestic violence shelters, dining halls, schools, churches, children’s shelters, halfway houses, homeless shelters, and senior centers. During Fiscal Year 2008-2009, the Food Bank distributed 67.7 million pounds of food to families and individuals, provided enough food for 300,000 meals every day, and garnered more than 370,000 volunteer service hours. The Food Bank has five locations in the Valley and Flagstaff, making its services easily accessible for agencies and their clients. Serving 13 of Arizona’s 15 counties, the organization is committed to volunteerism, building community relationships, and improving the quality of life for Arizonans in need.

United Food Bank is a certified member of Feeding America and is the regional non-profit food distribution center for Eastern Maricopa, Gila, Pinal, Southern Apache and Southern Navajo Counties. Committed to reducing hunger by acting as a community bridge between those who want to help and those who are in need, United Food Bank has served Maricopa County, Gila, Pinal, Apache and Navajo Counties since 1983. In 2008/09, United Food Bank distributed 12,947,106 lbs. of food and grocery items to 251 Community Partner Agencies and 12 sister food banks--enough food to provide over 27,700 meals daily. United Food Bank utilizes its Nutrient Tracking & Enhancement System (NTES), to track and enhance the nutritional value of the food it distributes. With 29 employees and volunteers providing 40,000 hours of service, United Food Bank consistently ranks as one of the most efficient food banks in Arizona and the nation.

Yuma Community Food Bank is a certified member of Feeding America and is the regional non-profit food distribution center for Yuma and La Paz Counties and Imperial County in California. After opening its doors in 1978 the Yuma Community Food Bank has grown to be the 3rd largest food bank in the state of Arizona. It is the largest hunger relief organization in Yuma and La Paz County serving families in a tri-county area of the southwest. An average of 10 million pounds of food is distributed annually through 15 emergency and supplemental food programs and supports over 47 non-profit agencies. With Yuma's excess of produce we are able to distribute produce to every county in the State of Arizona. The Yuma Community Food Bank has no needs or wants...the Yuma Community Food Bank has customers that do.
